Deep ruby red. Layered nose with mulled baking spices, dark berries, cherry liqueur and forest floor. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Complex palate with damp earthiness, a bit of spiciness, dusted berries, cocoa powder and a touch of gravel. Medium length finish. Drink now.

First of the blind Napa Valley Mountain reds. Deep ruby red. Attack of baking spices on the nose, almost coconut with some woody characteristics and purple floral notes. Solid acidity with medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of age showing through on the palate with some woody elements, black cherries, raspberries, dark cocoa and forest floor. A little bit of dark berry undertones. Medium length finish with lots of gravel. Drink till 2022.

Big and tasty. Wonderfully soft tannins with spice and tobacco. The finish is long. Simply the best Malbec I've ever had. (update 2/2/20)...still drinking beautifully. Drink through 2020.

C: Dark purple ruby N: Lots of dark fruits like blackberries and lots of baking spices like cinnamon. Also had some caramel and a little bit of heat or something medicinal. P: Moderate plus tannins (6.5/10) and moderate body. Highly extracted and rich. Slightly savory finish. Long finish. O: Honestly we were not expecting much after the disappointing experience with the Frisinger Cab a couple months ago but this Malbec is why we ordered a shipment from them!

Medicinal cherry on the nose.
Dark, dark red. With youthful heat on the mid palate.
