Really spectacular wine drinking perfectly now. Sweet floral and orange blossom on the nose. Palate brings sour cherries, spice, bitter chocolate, and fresh espresso crema. At its seven years, there's plenty of fruit and rustic tannins along with a beautiful velvety texture. Acidity is perfectly poised and leads the way down the very, very long finish. Impressive.

Actually, I'm impressed. At 6+ years old, it's drinking very nicely. Nose has red fruit, orange blossom, white pepper, pretty/not-heavy incense, and a high-toned floral note. Palate has a rich and velvety texture, bright acidity, blood orange notes, and a very long finish, especially on the side edges of the tongue. This wine is a bit rustic; it lacks the elegance of a Piemonte Nebbiolo, but it's tasty and fun without being simple. Nice wine. It could age another two years quite pleasantly.

Great ruby color, good legs. Ripe fruit with a balanced mouthfeel. Good now would age well.

Not bad. On par with other US Nebbiolo - though that isn't a very high bar.
