Lovely drinking spot with the Waedensvil singing, so glad to have another bottle. Very fresh, no brown edge at 9 years, mid palette and finish wonderful. One of my favorite pinots from Trisaetum.

Opened about 1/2 hour prior to pouring. Initially a little musty but that blew off quickly. This was an earthy wine with some muted cherry. Enjoyable but didn’t reach the heights of some of the other Trisaetum wines.

Tight upon opening. After air time the shy aromas start reveal notes of cherry, cranberry and strawberry that mingle with rose hip, tea, spice, earth, bramble and cocoa. The palate is more giving with juicy red berry fruits of cherry, strawberry, cranberry and ripe pomegranate that comes laced with notes of rose water, red tea, salted caramel, vanilla, rocky minerals and white pepper. The texture is velvety across the mid-palate. Juicy acidity and powdery tannins dance through the finish.
Needs (cellar or bottle) time to open up.

No notes taken. Carries its abv well with pretty red fruits and an intensity on the palate. 100% wadensville.
