  This was a surprise. It is labelled 'spaetlese' and is from fruit harvested at 14.8 baume. The bin number is 8101V124. It won a bronze medal at the 1981 Adelaide and 1982 Sydney wine shows.
  Now bronze in colour with a strong, complex, fruit-driven aroma. Very good full and 'ripe' palate with the sweetness being balanced by a clean acid finish. Seems much younger and more vigorous than you would expect from a 34 year old.
