Amazing wine! Another well balanced, velvety SLD wine from Pine Ridge. A bit tight at opening but within 30 minutes was showing its beautiful fruit and depth. Black cherry, ripe blueberries and bramble nose is followed by a full body dark fruit palate, a bit of black tea and a hint of cocoa. Nice acidity keeps the mouth watering during a long, subtle finish. Tannins are fine grained and well integrated.

Where's the fruit? All we get is oak, alcohol and a touch of acid. When I pop a 2007 Napa Cab, I'm expecting vibrant and rich fruit on both the nose and palate. This has none. Maybe in a dumb phase? I won't take the risk on this brand again...

Amazing, this is a Napa CAB. (period) Thick, tannins laying back and so enjoyable.
