Way to young to show it's best but very nice now. Complex nose with licorice, autumn leaf and some green tones. Nice palate: acidity, bitterness and fruit. Tasty with some big flavours. Needs time.

A business dinner (Wijnkoperij Okhuysen, Haarlem, NL): So nice to taste this again after its debut last year. Tonight it was all fragrance and flowers, whole-cluster but without any stemminess, deceptively light and airy but with good flavour intensity, silky and pure, seamless and charming, lovely fraîcheur, no visible oak, made with a gentle hand to reveal the finesse that the complicated 2013 vintage is capable of even in Morey.

Wijnkoperij Okhuysen Tasting and Dinner with David Duband (Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg, Santpoort, NL): A blend of four parcels: Blanchards, Ruchots, Ormes and Cheseaux (hence "Broc"), 50 year old vines, 60% whole cluster. A clear step up in quality compared to the village wines tasted today, good stuffing of fruit, lovely lift and meaty Morey typicity on the nose, nice hint of cream on the palate, bright and juicy fruit, lovely length.
