  Deep ruby color. Nose of focused black cherry and blackberry with a background of integrated spice. Medium bodied on the palate, well balanced with good presence, friendly and very drinkable.

  Another overachiever from Rioja. Definitely an oak dominated nose. But God how the Riojans know how to use oak! Licorice, blackberries, tobacco, underbrush on the nose. Fine balance, juicy somewhat mineral palate with a nice lift. Chalky tannins. Persistent. Excellent QPR.
