Dark yellow in glass. Was keeping fingers crossed it was not premoxed, and to my delight was not. Straddling nicely an off dry line, this was crisp with acidity and at the same time, rich with light honey aged pear and lemon. Drank over several nights with and without food and enjoyed most in its own. Quite clean finish, lovely purity. Not too expressive nose but enough lift to enjoy. Mixed in light minerality, added citrus, if not orange or lime, as well maybe light sweet herb.

PNP. Cork perfect. Actually bent my Coravin needle. First taste was good and access lost so I opened it. Unlike my recent experiences with this producer in this vintage showing early maturity and oxidation, this is great. There is gold color suggesting oxidation, but not getting that on nose or palate. In fact this is really fresh. On nose I get lemon and mint. Swishing this shows mostly acid structure that is mellow not prickly. Finish is citrus and lingers. Maybe just a hint of nuts at the tail end but this is 7 years old. Sipping shows the whole package. Fruit, depth, and enough acid to propel a long finish. Makes me really confused about other bottlings from the same vintage that I did not enjoy.....

I generally agree with my friend CCT on his assessment of this wine. Despite the darkening color (looked oxidative) and the richness of this wine, it is at the same time crisp and refreshing. Very solid minerality and lots of fruit, tending to the green apple, lime tinged end of the spectrum but with a slightly honeyed richness. Very well made chenin in a very good spot right now. Quite enjoyable on a brutally hot mid summer evening where the temperature was nearly 100 degrees (F). Drank really well with turkey breast and a fresh peach chutney with lots of cardamom.

Nice. High acid, green apple, bright bracing. Probably on the downswing. Fully mature.

Dark amber - smelled off at first and appeared too dark. After an hour it was drinkable but not good
