Really rich and savoury black fruit with a stoney, chalky finish amid the reassuringly bittern tannin. Lovely acidity which keeps the whole thing fresh. One not to miss out on and buy by the case, this well worth the money. Clearly there are some lovely modest 2010s coming through. 90

Very dark purple with evolved brick rim. Fine plum and licorice bouquet. Good weight of ripe dark cherry fruit with some grippy tannins still and balancing acidity. Real structure. Thoroughly satisfying right bank claret and a perfect example of the great value Bordeaux satellites can offer in a good ripe year. This compares well with some of the 2nd wines from the big names that I have tasted and at this price point (£10.95) very very good value - what a find.

Really satisfying savoury claret. Better than a couple of years ago. Drinking perfectly now. Delicious

Warm earth, plummy, red cassis, underbrush, earth; dry tannins, good med. finish.
