45+ minute decant. Medium red color. Nose contains bell peppers, cherry ice, and alcohol. Reminds me of the ‘10 Domaine Eden Cab. Wine is spicy, slightly harsh on the palate, with minimal fruit and medium minus depth. Finish is solid. I usually love Joguet Chinon’s but this wasn’t the best showing and might benefit from more age or air.

On the first day was an unremarkable vin de table. However on the second day was much improved, with pronounced green pepper and the earthiness often associated with Loire Cab Francs. High acidity, medium bodied with slightly chewy tannins. It may reward more bottle age.

Green peppers, smoked meat and sour cherries. Rather light bodied but with good structure. Feels a little mean spirited on the first day......

Coravin sample, out of curiosity. Like most other vintages - this is way too young after 5 years. Needs a further 5 years to reach full potential.

Good fruit. Some tartness, minerlality and herbaceous. Tannins slightly chewy.
