More weight than the charmes chambertin. Higher density. Nose is very similar with red and purple fruit. Palate was smooth with pure fruit. Interesting and balanced but expensive for what it is.

Charles van Canneyt 2014 Tasting (JABCO - Beaune, France): Tasting, brief note. Slightly reduced to start. Black fruit with lots of depth and density. Backward for right now, while showing very elegant and fine tannins. Needs plenty of cellar time, but worthy of its terroir.

Sappy, dense, and black-fruited this comes off as a bit surly. Time should help.
