  • A 100% Chardonnay made from the grapes sourced from Costigliole. Aged in the bottles with the lees for 36 months. Annual production 12,000 bottles.

Pale green color. Quite rich and expressive nose with aromas of ripe yellow fruits, some red apple and more pronounced, dark-toned toast characteristics veering towards nougat. Very powerful, rich and small-sized mousse that gives the nice good crispness along with moderately high acidity. Refreshing and moderately complex taste of yellow and green apples, citrus fruits, some nutty autolytic characters and a little herbal greenness. Nice precision with more depth and fruit than the regular Millesimato Extra Brut. Ripe, fruity and moderately long finish with flavors of ripe citrus fruits, some nutty and toasty autolysis, a little peach, a hint of grapefruit and a touch of steel.

Very nice and serious Blanc de Blancs with nice intensity, autolytic complexity and structure. At 25€ this gives good challenge to those less expensive Blanc de Blancs Champagnes. Very nice and enjoyable, recommended.
