  • Pale straw yellow color. The entire wine was dominated by a stony-minerality. The nose was filled crushed rocks and minerals with subtle notes of pear and pineapple and just a hint of briar patch. The taste was stony minerals with a slight note of apricot. The finish was medium long and further filled with minerals, lemons, pears and apricots. The light body and subtle effervescence was very enjoyable, but the wine felt unbalanced with the dominance of stones and minerals.

  • Confusing wine that was somewhat dull in the glass and a little bitter on the finish. Let it settle down for a few hours, but did not improve significantly. Would be great on a hot day with food when sweetness is not desired.

  • Not too sweet or fruity, but neither was it so dry as to put off my friends who shy away from the drier champagnes.
