Drank over past two nites. Surprisingly well-preserved. Quite similar to the note I wrote when I last had this wine some 6 years ago, shockingly. Wine definitely showing its age, lots of brown at the edges. However, there's still a tad of red fruit. Nose is earthy mushrooms. Tannins resolved, short finish

Similar to the note I wrote when I last had this wine some 6 months ago. Wine definitely showing its age, lots of brown at the edges. However, still has its fruit--raspberries mostly, remaining tannins are very soft, and the wine is quite easy to drink. Need to get thru the rest of my 1/2 case within the next year or so.

On the pour, the wine definitely shows significant signs of bricking on its edges. Still a fragrant nose of violets and berries. The wine still is showing its fruit, and a bit of spice, perhaps some licorice in there too. All in all, a pleasant enough wine and surprisingly well preserved.

not enjoyable at all, opened this about 30 minutes ago and can't make it to the half glass mark, oxidation but something else I just can't put my finger on.

Dark purple color. Intense rich flavors that stay short of seeming jammy. Plum and black cherry flavors with black pepper. Slightly sweet finish works well with spicy food. Fantastic bargain at under $15. Best in next two years.
