Coravin fun - Bordeaux (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Cedar, pyrazine, cream, muted black fruits with a red currant underpin, touch of sweet spice, slight leather and earth. Juicy, red and black currant, plenty of grippy, drying, chalky textured tannins, slight leather, umami join the fruit on the finish. Simple aged Bordeaux is balanced and nice

Coravin fun - Senejac mini-vertical (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Leather, wet earth, a little cream, brambles, savoury and sweet spice, cedar, with agitation a touch of wild blackcurrant, getting tertiary meaty notes as well. Savoury, meaty, juicy brambles, tannins are drying, medium plus intensity and floury textured, tiny touch of sourness here. Needs hearty stew. Drink (or hold if you like 'em old).

Smells of blackberry, jam, hint of dark chocolate and cola and fruitcake. Tastes of black cherry, pepper and a light tar on finish. Good acidity and tannin with good grip. Enjoyable if a little underwhelming.

Coravin fun - Bordeaux + ring in (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Bramble , earthy, cedar, alcohol spice, violet, a little farmyard, leather, biscuit. Juicy, fleshy, leathery and brambly, softly burred tannins. Nice.
