Drinking in memory of my cyber friend Bob Wood, whose passing shocked many in the wine world. He was a big promoter of Oregon Pinot Noir, but I don't own any. Great nose, cool almost minty finish. Tannins and fruit in balance. Drink now or in the next 3-5 years.

Ruby, fading to brick red. Great nose of pine needles, cherry fruit and earth. The palate is very fresh, with good acidity, bright red fruits, and soft tannins. This is drinking very well right now, but I don't know if it has the stuffing for extended aging.

Brick red. Beautiful nose of pine bark, forest, toasted nuts and ripe cherries. Soft in the mouth with cherry flavors predominating (though the taste is a bit of a letdown after the nose). Excellent burgundy for the price.

Silky mouthfeel, nice fruit but not a lot of complexity; nice pinot
