Obvious whiskey taste but there is so much more to this wine. Black currants with a velvety viscous finish. Will attempt to leave 5 in the cellar for a prolonged period of time. Don't like my chances

(Jacob's Creek Shiraz Cabernet Double Barrel) Very dark red violet color; baked plum, spice, black currant, dark chocolate, light licorice nose; tasty, rich, black currant, berry, black raspberry preserves palate; long finish (after initial aging, another 8-10 weeks in Scottish whiskey barrels) 92+ points

Usually Shiraz for me has a bite to it, but the "double-barrel" (American oak and whiskey barrels) makes this bottle very smooth.
