  • Tasted next to the 2016 Dönnhoff Hermannshöhle GG 2016 and the difference in color is striking. This is much more medium golden color (as opposed to the Dönnhoff that was a pale straw). Beautifully open notes of apricot, kumquat, some white peach, spices too. It has an almost creamy/oily mouthfeel, it‘s medium+ bodied, has medium-high acidity and a recognizable amount of residual sugar, making it incredibly balanced and great to drink now. Very good length and just a pleasure to drink now and over the next 7 - 10 years.
