91-92+ Hardys' HRB range is exemplary proof that big does not necessarily mean bad. A solid and deliciously drinkable Oz PN.N: Perfumed smashed dark cherries, overripe wild strawberries, gravel, wet earth undertones. Dark but balanced.P: Med+ body, but poised. Cherry liqueur, earthy/leathery raspberry stew, med+ acid, old, not overdone toasty oak underbelly. High tones of earthy herbs and ripe stems (good structure). Subtle creamy texture. F: Toasty, savoury oak comes through more with dried cherries. This will improve over the next 5 years.
