  This wine had a deep red center and light red rims. The nose was reasonably nice but was dramatically better after 5+ hours of air. The medium+ intensity nose showed black cherries, plums, and some clove.
  
  In the mouth, this wine had a nice fruity entry with rounded tannins and decent acidity. It was nice at first but really blossomed with air. I was impressed by this wine's balance and lack of excess heat.
  
  This was an nice wine for a basic cuvée. It should improve somewhat with a few years in the cellar. However, I do not expect my score to change much. Enjoy
