Doesn’t seem at all like it is 12yo. Still ripe fruit, lots of oak, tight. Decent, but I’m thinking it stays on its side for at least another 5 before I even think about opening the next one.

Cumaro: clear deep purple with a brownish tint and m- vague rim. Clean on the nose: a little close, red cherry, jammy berries(strawberry), spices(chilly pepper) and lesser woody(vanilla). Heavy high tannin(like Serralunga D'Alba), high alcohol(14), medium acidity, dry, m+ body. Leafy, tobacco, and caramel, with a long leavy finish with a hint of vanilla. Serving at very low temperature, 10 degrees. It may need 5-10 years to soften the powerful tannin. Recorked. Will try it in the following weak. Interesting.
Lovely, highly aromatic and complex nose with balanced cherry, clove, cinnamon, sweet spice and some rose floral aromas, all of which come through very nicely on the medium-full bodied palate. This has fine tannins, very good acidity and an excellent finish length.
