The balance of fruit and minerality is excellent here. In the nose white pepper, citrus and underneath apricot and pear. On the palate first a refreshing acidity and then a concentrated citrus variation with nice minerality underneath. Absolutely a great composition. The finish is medium but bit num in the very end. All in all this is a great Chassagne!. I would say drink now or keep up until 10-15 more years for even more complexity and fatness. At this point 92-94P

One glass from Coravin at Hotel Impérial in Annecy. At restaurant, one glass is 2/3-3/4 the price of... a full bottle. Regardless... Nice medium pale yellow colour. The nose is open with mineral aromas, citrus, faint butter-hazelnut touch as well as very faint aniseed. On the palate, the attack is frank with a good acidity, a nice persistent flavour with the same aromas as on the nose - good length, great balance. I preferred the balance and flavour profile on this compared to the C-M Les Baudines 2014 by the same producer. This was denser and a touch rounder, whereas Les Baudines was (relatively speaking) more Chablis like - tensile, higher acidity, less mineral. Anyhow, this one scores a good 91. I like it already today with a bit of air, but it can undoubtedly last another 5-8 years.

Has a fresh nose of pure white peach and mineral. It is full and intense with good richness and outstanding elegance. It has flesh and detail and there's a touch of aniseed spice.

PWTG 2014 Chassagne flight, 2nd place out of 6 wines. Lovely nose, floral, lime, oak spice and orange rind. Mineral driven palate, lemony, medium acid, but more generous than the PYCM wines. Medium finish.

There's a whiff of sulphur, some flint and plenty of white peach and lemon on the nose. It has good intensity and density but is currently very tight, compact and linear. Acidity is bright, balance is impressive as is length and it should age particularly well.
