  • The first bottle of my case. It needed some time to open up but then it was there in full glory: creaminess with a saline touch!
On the palate, medium to full-bodied, balanced and delicious
    Good finish without being amazing.
The score could be higher if the nose was more expressive and the finish was longer. I am not saying that I was disappointed, this is good to very good but I have had it delight me in the past and this one fell short of that. 2014 is a great vintage and this wine has ways to go so curious how it will develop.

  • First from a 6 pack, following a bottle of Jadot Duc de Magenta 1er C-M Morgeot ‘14 a few nights previously. Lemon with some orange blossom on the nose, saline, rich and unctuous in the mouth - long, long finish, with sufficient residual acidity to suggest a few ( 2-4? ) years left at this ( entry point ) peak. This will never be a great wine, but it is very, very good + will leave ABC naysayers struggling for justified criticism. In contrast, the D de M was fractionally richer in the mouth, and perhaps half a pip superior. Delish..

  • Pick this up at Drouhin a few years ago when in Burgundy. Based on the reviews I was essentially expecting to be disappointed. Couldn’t be farther from the truth. This is a terrific premiere cru. Offers classic notes of white orchard fruit, stony minerality and good length. Ready to drink now. Excellent and recommended; my only regret is that I had not bought more.

  • no notes but remember this being very good, classic citrus led white burg, meaningful acidity but also starting to round out... I think these (at least based on this bottle) should be drunk in next 2 to 4 years
