The oak (even though it was slight) is now fully integrated and this is absolutely singing. Light gold in color, beautiful acidity, and the citrus minerality of 2014 is really shining through. It would be now to compare the 13 vs the 14 and see if the vintage class of 14 wins out. Luckily I have one of each left.

While 2014 is a better year for chablis, the 2013 L'Homme Mort is way better. The 2014 has a new world taste, perhaps more oak, than the 2013. Don't get me wrong, it is still quite good. But the 13' is better.

Crisp with a mineral finish. Great with shellfish. A great Chablis for the price.
