Agree with Swaggering Beaunie’s tasting note below. In its prime drinking window I believe. A very nice, well-structured wine.
Edit: After 4 days under vacuum held up remarkably well. Inky dark, chocolate, balanced, prominent tannins. Our last bottle but if you have these wouldn’t rush to drink-Has the structure to age at least a few years more. A very decent value at $25.

Really showing well now. Very dark opaque red with a t ouch of purple. Nose is plush with blackberry, plum, and a hint of cedar and bramble. On the palate, again very plush, full-bodied, and deep. The oak is still prominent but much better integrated. Tannins are also prominent but it all works together with great balance. Medium-long finish. A winner.

Has come into a good drinking window. Deep, rich, dark fruit notes; the oak has receded; better with a very slight chill to tamp down the alcohol. Nice, but hard to see the original >$50 price tag... fairly satisfied at the WTSO price I paid, though.

Very sad this is my last bottle. Totally in balance and at prime now. Wonderful.

Continues to evolve and improve. Drinking very well right now. But will give my last bottle another couple years before I finish them off.
