Lots of lychee, Asian pear, and honey on the nose. Tasted blind, I might have guessed a gewurztraminer-based dessert wine. It doesn't sit too heavily in the mouth, and although it might lack the focus and persistence of a good sauternes or a Loire moelleux, the aromatics are rewarding and make the wine still worth a try.

11/2/2015 - MC2 Wines Likes this wine:
Megamoon Part V: Mendoza (Argentina); 11/1/2015-11/3/2015 (Park Hyatt Mendoza, Lujan de Cayo, Uco Valley): Another nice break from the big reds and anyway I tend to be a sucker for the sweets. This was pretty much canned peaches in a bottle. Nice and sweet and honeyed and apricots. Enjoyable as a more basic sweet end to a meal.
