  • Tasted across 5 days and rated according to peak performance.

This has developed very nicely. On the nose now an intriguing nettle and grassy note next to the lemon and slight sea breeze. On the palate, as before. Unripe, zingy quince, and lemon juice licked off a granite rock, a little nutmeg, but milder than I remember it. Very good, and stellar for the price.

    Days 1 and 2: 89
    Developed nicely by day 3 (and 4): 90 !
    Day 5: 89

  • Day 4 was an 88: like licking freshly pressed lemon juice off a rock. I'll leave the overall rating at 87, but this could mean it has a bit of potential for the years to come.
Day 3: the nutmeg has turned more citrusy.
Day 2 was an 86: took a small glass. Don't.
    Day 1 was an 87:
Harmless, rather simple summer quaffer: granny smith apple, peach, nutmeg, minerality, some sea breeze on the nose. The minerality itself is pretty long and mouthcoating. Therefore an reaching towards an 88. Reasonably dry, 8.3 g /L RS, 11.5% abv.
Notable because of its rather amazing qpr: I got the 1 L bottle for 6,20 € (directly from the vintner) ! Certainly worth that prize for a casual drink.
This little video misuses this one for something way more important ☺
