Decided to open this with some friends who enjoy aged Chard’s and was pleasantly surprised by how acidic and bright it still seemed. It still has much more time to age in my opinion. I wish I had more so I could see what it was like in another 2-3 years!

There's oak on the nose, along with lemon zest, outdoor grass and honeydew melon. Palate flavors of lemon, creme brulee, pineapple, oak on the front give way to lemon curds, citrus pie, and sweet potatoes at the finish. Have had this chardonnay twice now... it is nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely love it and would highly recommend drinking now.

It's a good wine with nice intensity and acidity but there's just too damn much oak. This one was supposedly well integrated but the vanilla and toast, almost a charred note really, just stuck on my palate and masked most of the rest of the flavors. Just not that big a fan of California chards.

Had a couple bottles of this a year or 2 ago and they were phenomenal. Bought 3 bottles recently from winebid, and they were all skunked.
