Bought it at Costco. NOT like the more complex and nuanced Pinot from Burgundy but good for moods when one prefers a ripe Pinot. A fair amount of acidity controls the ripeness, and the fruit in itself is not overpowering, but still a “fruity” wine. Tannin is nice and mellow. Would prefer a little more complexity though. These higher-end “New World” wines are more difficult to distinguish from their much cheaper alternatives. (I think and probably to state the obvious) The moral of the story is to stick to the best Burgundies if one wants a Pinot.

Dark red fruit is combined with underbrush, delicate spice notes and a little touch of peat moss. Good depth and texture. This is one of the more elegant Pinots in their portfolio and I really like it. Good juice.

Dark red fruit, underbrush, dusty spice and herbs combine to create a wonderful RRV Pinot noir. Good depth and texture. This wine a is medium in weight and perfectly balanced in oak, alcohol and fruit. Good juice.

Dark fruit fruit is accented by underbrush, light peat moss and Christmas spice. Wonderful depth and texture. The aromatics continued to evolve through the last glass. This wine still has some upside to it, but it is in a good place with a hour or two decant. Good juice.
