  • I think that this bottle was better than my last just over a year ago judging by my then TN. Beautifully integrated Riesling fruit, minerals and mouth-watering acidity with that typically Grünhaus graceful airiness. Indeed, dare I confess that it was more to my taste than the richer and more outwardly impressive Scharzhofberg Kabinett '04 from last Saturday? Very good.

  • This Abtsberg QbA bottling is delicious in many vintages. From memory I have had better but this one is good with gentle sweetness and deliciously mouth-watering acidity that makes it food friendly. Moving up to Kabinett grade adds finesse and distinction.
