  I think that this bottle was better than my last just over a year ago judging by my then TN. Beautifully integrated Riesling fruit, minerals and mouth-watering acidity with that typically Grünhaus graceful airiness. Indeed, dare I confess that it was more to my taste than the richer and more outwardly impressive Scharzhofberg Kabinett '04 from last Saturday? Very good.

  This Abtsberg QbA bottling is delicious in many vintages. From memory I have had better but this one is good with gentle sweetness and deliciously mouth-watering acidity that makes it food friendly. Moving up to Kabinett grade adds finesse and distinction.
