  Left bottle open 4 hours prior to drinking. All dark fruits w/ velvety finish. Our last of 4 bottles. Went well with Tuscan stuffed peppers, fireplace & movie.

  Very off from the last bottle I had 2015-11-20.
  
  It feels even riper and bigger than I can recall. The nose shows notes of really ripe blackberry, Basset wine gum, rubber tire, smoke and oak.
  
  Extracted and powerful on the palate where I get mostly ripe black fruit, oak and alcohol. Some grassy notes on the finish. A heavy, modern styled Dolcetto that doesn't do it for me any day of the week.

  A bit softer after a day on vacuvin but still has a funky edge to it. Black fruit with a very tart finish. Moderate tannin. I ended enjoying it reasonably well.
