Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 91.5 points

  • Complex notes of cherries, spices, earth, smoke, crushed stones on the nose. On the palate very bright and vibrant, juicy fruit, lots of minerality, well integrated tannins. Very long. Drink or (better) keep. 92-94

  • A Blaufrankisch that I gladly come back to when I get a chance to purchase it. One of the most serious QPRs in the game. Bright black fruit both on the nose and the palate. Pronounced acidity that will keep its profile for more years to come. Long juicy finish. Could use a deeper structure, but I'm definitely not complaining too much.

  • Dark centre, slightly lighter towards the rim. Lots of depth and an almost exalted finesse to the nose - cherries, cherry stones, dark berry fruit, wood smoke, spices. On the palate quite tight still with a lovely mineral streak, round but grippy tannins, lots of concentrated fruit underneath, well integrated acidity. Finishes on a very persistent, vibrant, uplifting note which was most impressive. Excellent, but too young at this stage. 93-94+
