  • There is so much here to unlock. The bouquet is deep and intoxicating, with black cherries, violets, and walnut shell. Full bodied, savory, and tightly wound, it flaunts Old World structure and power, with a shapely core of generously, plump black fruit, highlighted by impressive precision, delineation, and vinosity. Cool stones and black coffee lurk in the background and through the long, complex, and expansive finish. This needs at least 2+ hours of air to show its glorious best but will be a blockbuster with another 3 to 5 years in the cellar. Lots of potential.
