It took a 6 hour decant, but it deserves at least a 92. When first opened it seemed like it might have been closed......somewhat disjointed and unbalanced. I kept tasting every hour after decanting. It improved constantly. Dark purple in color, very big, long finish. Very young, but showed great after 4-6 hours. Needs at least 2 more years in the bottle. A somewhat untypical Aussie Shiraz, not as upfront fruit jammy, but a beautiful integrated balance of fruit/tannins. Complex and delicious. Super value @$17 at Total Wines. Give it time, should last 5+ years and probably improve.

Syrupy, jammy. Some eucalyptus or cedar mid-palate providing depth and structure. A little bit boozed, with a long, grippy finish. May develop with more time.

Big Shiraz. Fruit forward with nice mouthfeel and a satisfying finish.

Sharp odor; high tannins. Dry on palette. Lingering aftertaste.
