This bottle came back down to earth. The flavor was nice with some peach, pear, and lemon, but the nuttiness and secondary deliciousness was missing. The finish was still nicely acidic but was a little short and flat. This was still a very good bottle of white burgundy, but not up to the level of the last 2 bottles. Still...2 for 3 on a $20 white burgundy isn't bad at all...not bad at all...

This bottle is just as good and may even be better than the last. The nose on this bottle smells like cheesecake and lemon. The taste is rich, nutty, vanilla creme brulee with brown sugar. The finish has a sweet, nutty aspect with a nice spicy bite. Damn. I'm 2 for 2 with this wine. I bought the other two and I'm going to ship the rest (4 more available) in from Harrisburg. This is hands down the best $20 white burgundy I have ever had and is 100% ready to drink now. I'll post more as I drink the rest to document the consistency.

The nose displays some vanilla creme brulee, crunchy almond, coconut, peaches, butter, and nutmeg. The flavor profile is still filled with acidity for being 7 years old, and has flavors of nectarine, lemon, peach, pineapple, toasted almonds, cinnamon, and vanilla. The finish is just a tiny bit flabby, but lasts for a good 30 seconds and displays cinnamon spice, roasted nuts, and creamy buttery vanilla. It's hard to not go back to this wine every 10 seconds for a small sip to see what else you can discern from it. It is so hard to find good, let alone decent, white burgundy wines for less than $20 but this is one of them. In fact, this is one of the best white wines I've ever had for under $20.
