  Drank at Mercato with wine group. Very closed at first but still approachable. After 2 hours in the decanter it was peaking. Not the best choice to PNP but it was huge and delicious with some air.

  Fruit forward, concentrated and packed with blackberry fruit, this Cabernet is both delicious and complex with notes of cassis, lavender, cocoa powder and a touch of mocha on the finish. Super fine and smooth tannins creates a full mouth feel but not until a 30-45 minute decant. Amazing vintage, wine and tasting experience.

  Reviewing other tasting notes anticipated the wine would be closed initially and need decant and time.
  
  This proved correct. Double decanted, at 90 mins it began to reveal itself, and improved gradually over the 4 hours it was open.
  
  Truly stunning wine. Full body, notes of cedar, black fruits, minerality. Long finish. What a treat!

  Deep ink color with a short purple rim and a beautiful nose.
  
  Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.
  
  Dry and very fruity on the palate, with nice complexity.
  
  Showing blueberries, plums, cooked cherries, cola, raisins, figs, chocolates, dark coffee, cedar, vanilla, licorice, eucalyptus and peppercorn.
  
  This 10 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking so beautifully now. Rich and extracted, with a soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward and engaging.
  
  Needs an hour to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
  
  Wine Spectator 94 points. Wine Advocate 98 points.
  
  Complex and good by itself. Will pair nicely with a big piece of steak. A gorgeous wine.
  
  14.6% alcohol by volume.
  
  95 points.
