Deep golden color. Bright acidity. Lemon and apples predominate the flavor with a subtle current of butterscotch running underneath, revealing its 10 year age. Well into its drinking window, but quite lovely, especially for the QPR.

Nice, relatively simple grapefruit nose. Middle weight. Dry, pleasant finish, although it became a bit flabby at 60F, so recommend drinking a bit more chilled. Simple, but well balanced decent QPR.

My last bottle of this gorgeous wine. Straw colored with tiny bubbles. Long complex finish in more body than most sparkling wines. Drinks dollars better than its price. Has a goodly amount of yeast melding with lots of citrus, much like the flavor profile of a Bollingers at less than half the price. Too bad theres probably no of this left anywhere.

Still going strong. Some bakeshop and fruit compote notes in the aroma and flavors. Acidity still ample. Agree with other tasters who find this very much like real champagne.
