Straw colored. High-toned aromas are floral indeed but not over the top or caricaturelike in their varietalness. Rich and broad framed, the flavors here are long enough to keep up with the alcohol, but their strength isn't great enough to distract you entirely from the creeping warmth.

Crisp yet with enough fruit to give this varietal a new standing among whites. Served at a tasting with demands for more after moving through all the traditional reds. Regular Viognier consumers called it one of the best.

Mildly disappointing wine. Originally tasted in the tasting room and was impressed, this time around it was just too much sweetness without any middle and back palate characteristics. It has a lot of apricot flavors and would probably do just fine with some Asian take-out or with Greek or Turkish food.

A bit heavier and sweeter than I would like, but nice notes of stone fruits, custard, toast, and lime on the finish. 87-88 points.
