Third bottle of four. Better than the first two, with real strength in the aroma department. Charred herbs, fresh and dried red fruits, and floral elements are all present and very nice. It falls short in the concentration department, where it lacks depth of flavor. Falls short of the 2010 by a pretty significant margin. "Very good," 86/100.

I echo PURSLANE's note. It is perfectly pleasant, but lacks any real backbone or complexity. Fairly light in body with little tannic structure... closer to Pinot than Bordeaux Blend. Flavors were primarily fruit with hints of wood, yeast, and green herbs.

A modest but pleasant wine, with a good balance of fruit, acid, and tannin, moderate smoothness, and decently long finish, that lacks concentration, power, and complexity. Closer to a Pinot Noir lover's style of Bordeaux.

Green pepper, fresh dirt, little fruit, low alcohol and low tannins. Not my thing but nothing really wrong about it.
