Ripe dark fruits, plum, a little cherry, jammy nose. Tart, cherry front palate. Good acid on the mid palate, same indistinct dark fruit flavors. Light to medium light body. Medium long finish with some tannic structure but not overwhelming. No alcohol burn even at 12.5%. Well balanced, polished effort.

I rarely drink a Beaujolais I don't end up loving. This was one. Something seemed out of balance and almost a sense of heat. I have some left over to try again soon but not optimistic. Very tart fruit with prickly acidity. Might of had a little spritz too. Paid $19 and no plans to buy more unless the left over couple glasses has a remarkable comeback.

Good depth, very nice earth and fruit flavor profile. Acidity sticks out quite a bit which throws it out of balance to my palate. Acid freaks will probably love this.

4/9/2021 - Buff Tannen, USXFel Presidente Likes this wine:
Implicit introductory orange becomes more explicit on day 2. Enjoyable, but nowhere near as pretty or nuanced as before

3/7/2021 - Buff Tannen, USXFel Presidente Likes this wine:
Coherent red fruits and the gentlest kiss of flowers upon opening, smelling, and tasting
Fruit weight a bit penderousondétu
These + acidity all come together the next morning, and normally I'd prefer this, but the opening is just so perfect and graceful
Endéphor, maybe flat cherry tangelo 7-Up sounds disgusting to you, but it's actually pretty awesome
