PNP. Red cherry, raspberry and some soil/earthiness; full throttle aromas. Full palate, more deeply fruited and sappy than many 2014s buttressed by subtle mineral laden structure and drying tannins that become more pronounced on the long finish. Very promising and not a waste to open one now if you have a few tucked away.

Really pretty nose red fruits touch of sauvage. Pallet is pretty good too but definitely more rustic than normal. Dark and brooding, quite earthy/annic. I would prefer a bit more flesh. I think this is a stamp of the vintage. Don’t like the vintage much they lack charm. Still, not chevillon’s fault just a vintage thing as it’s well made. No brett. Pretty good.

Enjoyable but I was expecting a little more complexity. Still on the way up. Hold.
