  Drinking well right now. Enjoyed over 2 hours and was actually brightest and most enjoyable the first hour. There is still enough here to keep, but will become even more secondary and tertiary focused.

  Drinking very nicely right now! Did not need decanting. Lots of lush fruit but some secondary characteristics as well. Yum.

  2 hour decant, had 2 glasses over a few hours. A bit hot out of the bottle but that settled. Prominent but not dominant ripe bing cherries, a little earth and minerality. I got no smoke or pepper notes, still chewy tannins but more polished than I remember from a few years ago. Nice acidity and structure, was great with food. Tasted day 2 - generally the same but more softened. This wine can easily go another decade plus with good cellaring but it's in a fantastic drinking window now.

  Dark ruby and opaque dark red bramble and cherry fruits, blue fruit, hints of smoke, and earth, consistent palate, full bodied. Acid is medium minus with some lull in the mid palate Medium finish and medium fine, slightly drying tannins.

  Stellar after a two hour decant. Great fruit with excellent integration and lengthy finish.
