Bordeaux blend completely hitting its stride. Lots of life left in it as well. Beautiful dark fruit and cassis and well integrated oak. A very pleasant surprise.

Vincent Arroyo: A somewhat strange BDX hybrid. Some dark currant flavors with some wood. Not a lot of depth, viscosity, or complexity. Clipped and thin on the back end. I couldn't get into it unfortunately.

Slowed Ox for 1hr and drank over two days. Dark purple core, with a ruby watery rim and medium body appearance on the glass. Black and blue with baking spices, and sweet oak. Smooth and fruity on the attack with balance acid and slightly gritty tannins and a medium finish.
The wine was much more balanced on day two with the Malbec shining to the forefront. Ripe plums, black berries and violets on the nose with a more balanced palate and softer but still gritty tannins.
This wine was made with aging power and it would be interesting to revisit in a few years.
