Still good but this particular bottle was a little too much acidity with the fruit a bit waning. The notes are basically the same and I enjoyed it, especially when warming in the glass, it is just the balance is more towards acidity now. In this bottle at least.

Bill & Crew - Offline #3 - One Penny Red: Blind. Charcoal, smoke, lemon and wild herbs. Good intensity on the palate, some sweet fruit but plenty of acid power to match. Youthful with medium depth and good length, this was rather enjoyable.

Let’s see… lemon, lemon, lemon - so much lemony tartness! But also green apple, mint, powdered sugar and cheese rind. This is the uniqueness of Jura at the hand of a master. This particular bottle bears more resemblance to Ganevat than what is often the case with Labet, that doesn’t always have this level of zing but Labet is always great, no katter if the style can differ a little bit from vintage to vintage and among the many different bottlings.

Incredible tension and energy! Quite intense, with firm acidity - almost like eating preserved lemon with salt. Exceptional Chard, still fairly youthful, could go for several years more.

Taut with acid, apple, flinty reduction to balance oxidative notes, but nothing is baked here. Savory but fresh. Persistent mineral finish. Yummy
