Half bottle. Quite a lot of Riesling like - plastic, bold, tart yellow plum aromas and taste. Heady, feels like some 5-10g of residual sigar even. Great food wine.

Fantastic! Took about 30 minutes to open up but excelled in all the areas. Plenty of time left for n the bottle on these. Could easily last another 20 years.
Honey, salivation, apricot, dried white peach. Stellar.
73 is a great year for viura, and this crianza shows it.

Post Lake's Dinner; 7/9/2016-7/10/2016 (Muse): Almond, violet, meat, honeycomb and chocolate. Oxidative palate, there is some decent acidity cutting through but it lacks a little bit of depth and interest otherwise.

This one was from about 1973, which is a good vintage to start with.
43 years old, and still with some freshness! Had with a great seafood paella.
Honey, tangerine, blood orange. Floral nose. Nice acidic backend go Cary it through the food. The acid is starting to round out, but there's enough left to make this one sing. Peaking, but should be good another year or two.
These wines are amazing and no one makes them like Heredia. Magical. The tropical fruits coated in honey is just an amazing experience. Drink 'em if you got 'em!

Half bottle from 80s. Perfect cork, excellent level. What a superb creamy, buttery, round vanilla and yellow plum goodness on the nose! Develops slight pickle and marinade like flavours when warms up. Punchy accidity, not for the faint hearted. This bottle had less volatile elements than the one before, so even though these wines hold together very well, there's some bottle variation present.
