  • 300 NOK Broderen kommer innom og fisker fram fra bagen. Intens og voldsom eplekake-lukt + noe litt skummelt. Særegen, ulik alt anna. Minner om når mor lager eplesaft i frukt sentrifugen.

  • A Champagne made in a rather non-interventionist fashion. A blend of Pinot Noir (90%) and Chardonnay (10%).

Pale straw yellow color. Moderately expressive and rich nose of toasty autolysis, brioche, some dark-toned nutty aromas and a hint of tart red fruit. The wine is complex, elegant and more medium-than-full-bodied on the palate with bright, racy acidity and focused, bone-dry flavors of honey, custard pastries, some sharp green apples, a little bit of steely minerality and a hint of roasted walnuts. The mousse feels very fine and smooth. The finish is quite long, complex and rather steely with moderate autolytic complexity and tart fruit flavors more in the spectrum of white/yellow than dark/red-toned. The bright, mouth-cleansing and mineral aftertaste persists for a long time.

A classic, impressive Millésime Grand Cru Champagne from a less impressive vintage. Shows a great combination of freshness and depth in a package that shows surprisingly little developed tones at the moment. Most likely still on its way up and reaching its apogee will take some time. Terrific, pure and mineral style here.
