(BYO Blind tasting) Full and rich nose. Yellow orchard fruit and oak. Malo notes of cream. Spice, mineral and oyster shell. Fullish and creamy palate. Toasty. Very good concentration and high acidity (the vintage). Flowery in finish. Lovely oyster shell minerality. After some probing we actually guessed on Corton-Charlemagne. More developed now than in 2018 when we also tried this wine.

"Only for Sundays" (Chicago, IL): High acid and lean, this shows more vintage character than Corton-Charlemagne. It feels like it's missing the gravitas of a grand cru on the palate, even though I do really like the lack of reduction of this.

Sealed with Diam. This was spectacular. A hint of spice, explosive white peach, just oozes minerality. Dense, compact and linear. Beautifully poised and balanced with fruit and mineral flavours that drive on and on.

Winemaker dinner with Giuseppe Vaira (RPM Steak - Chicago, IL): Seemed quite tight and firm at this stage. Loads of structure and taut acidity. Give this another 5 years. Upside from here.

A beautiful white burgundy. Very elegant, excellent mouth feel, with notes of white flower, honeysuckle and citrus (lime). Long finish.
