(Markus Molitor Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese**) This was a wonderful wine. Had that wonderful 1993 acidity along with a creamy texture and lots of slate. Very rich and opulent with great site specific flavors. Creamy and long - - -but not as long as wines from Wehlen as is the norm. The nose showed some petrol and an interesting note of custard. Molitor reminds me of Mugnier in Burgundy in that his style is that he has no style. Each wine is a perfect example of the specific site they come from.

Completly soaked cork, very loose and almost pushed into the bottle by approaching the screwpull.
But the wine is perfect. Crystal clear, pure fruit and slightly mineralic, rather lean and not very sweet, but with a good persitence. Really a surprise. Tasted like a fine, ten year old Mosel-Spätlese.

Not terrible, but a disappointment. Primary fruit scents on nose, with little complexity or interest. Medium bodied, fruity, racy in mouth, but tastes more like a decent 2004 Kabinett than a 1993 Auslese.
