2014 Burgundy 10years on, tasted blind: Discreet nose as well, earthy elements with dark fruit and some licorice. Good mid-palate, tannins a bit rustic but in line with the NSG appellation typicity. Group Rank: 9/16

Very good at this point, lots of black and red fruit, some spice, after some time open starts to show the first tertiary notes, mostly earthy. Well structured but definitely starting to show its elegant side

My my... This has changed quite a bit since I last had it more than 2-yrs ago. While it hasn’t totally shaken off its tight/tannic structure, it’s gotten quite fine actually; Started with a somewhat bright floral note interweaved with dark-red berries & tinges of spice that wouldn’t made me guessed NSG have I had it double-blind. Palate is also more giving & showing this time round - silky with good density, it also had slight notes of earth & minerality that made it maintain a good freshness/balance. Must say that I’m pleasantly surprised by how it’s developed! Keen to see how this will turn out with more cellar ageing...
93 pts

A tad reticent when served... this came across a bit rustic, with very faint scents of flowers developing after prolonged time in glass. Also gained more focus & clarity. At this juncture, I don't think I get the purity and appeal that I do with winemakers like Fourrier, Duroche, Gibourg etc... May still get better with more bottle-age...
