Medium gold color with a few fine particulates. Medium intensity nose of peaches, melon, and toasty oak. It really needed a couple of hours open to fully come together on the palate and then it was brilliant. You have to like a bit of oak to appreciate this, but I don’t feel it’s too overdone at all. Delicious fruit and spices, full bodied yet no heat or burn. I’m a fan. 4+11+17+9= 91

Lots going on here. Strong flavors of fresh fig, almond, honey, honeydew melon, apricot, and sweet spices, but also quince, pear, green apple, peach, green grass, bell pepper, flint, grapefruit, banana, and pineapple. I can get a new flavor in each sip. You can tell that there is Semillon and some oak in here (37% new French oak and some used oak). Very ripe and not as good with extra air (better on day 1 than day 2 especially), which makes me think that I should drink this wine young and maybe even younger than I did. Nevertheless, this was delicious.

Past-peak. There's no fruit left to temper the high acidity. Waited too long on this one.

Very pale yellow color. Hints of citrus and lemon grass.

One of my favorite whites. Just enough oak, with light lemon hints. I really like this wine. Consistently great.
